Shabu-shabu and sukiyaki specialty restaurant "Mo-Mo Paradise" will begin offering an "All-You-Can-Eat Course with Matcha Demonstration" starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in response to the growing demand from inbound tourists.
Enjoy a Matcha Experience at a Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki Specialty Restaurant
In recent years, there has been a growing interest among international visitors to Japan in experiencing Japanese culture, including matcha.
This new plan for inbound tourists combines an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki course with a service where staff prepare and serve matcha at your table. Guests can enjoy an authentic Japanese experience after their meal.
The course will be offered at Mo-Mo Paradise Shinjuku East Exit Store starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, and will be gradually introduced at other stores thereafter.
Using "Kyosui" Matcha from Kyoto Prefecture, Matcha is Prepared at Your Table
We use "Kyosui" matcha from Kyoto Prefecture. It is characterized by its rich aroma, elegant umami, and vibrant green color, making it an accessible flavor for international guests.
Our staff will prepare each cup of matcha right at your table. You can enjoy a freshly made cup while watching the staff whisk the matcha with a chasen (bamboo whisk) up close.
When served, we will explain how to drink and enjoy matcha in multiple languages, including English. We will also provide Japanese confectionery to create a relaxing atmosphere befitting the end of your meal.
