From October 2, 2023 (Monday), Wonder Table Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hiroaki Kono, hereinafter referred to as "Wonder Table") will be available at all Wonder Table stores in Japan (*1). We are pleased to announce that we have started selling gift certificates and card-type gift cards, ``Wondertable Gift Card,'' and digital gift service ``Wondertable eGift.''
Until now, Wonder Table had been issuing original paper gift cards. However, they were not openly sold as gift certificates, and were only sold to shareholders and business partners. This was because, because it was made of paper, there was a company-wide workload, such as management systems and processing support. To solve this problem, we decided to use the services of Value Design Co., Ltd. and switch to digital gift cards. We assume that there are two main purchase scenarios, and we offer two types of gift cards. One is the card-type gift card "Wondertable Gift Card." Original packaging is also available, making it ideal as a hand-delivered gift or as a prize for an event. The other is the digital gift service “Wondertable eGift.” Since the sender can easily send electronic money via email or SNS, it can be used as a gift for people far away who do not have the opportunity to meet in person.
Wonder Table restaurants are often used for anniversaries and special occasions. We hope that by selling two types of gift cards, we will not only improve productivity, but also create new demand and become a pillar of sales.
