Yona Yona Ale's official beer restaurant, Yona Yona Beer Works, will be offering a limited quantity of its original craft beer, "FAC ''PINK'' West Coast IPA," which uses a generous amount of the new hop variety "PINK," from Sunday, August 10, 2025.

This special beer was created by the Fantastic Aroma Club (FAC), a team at YOHO Brewing, the brewery that brews Yona Yona Ale, who are challenging themselves to "make beer with a focus on aroma." They devised yeast fermentation conditions to maximize the hop aroma.

The new hop variety used this time, "PINK," is characterized by a fresh, sweet aroma reminiscent of citrus fruits, peaches, apricots, and other stone fruits. Layered with soft sweetness like vanilla, honey, and apples, it creates a complex, deep aroma. This multi-layered aroma is the greatest appeal of "FAC ''PINK'' West Coast IPA."

"FAC "PINK" West Coast IPA" is a beer carefully brewed to maximize the appeal of the "PINK" hop. Yeast produces a rich aroma during fermentation, but if that aroma is too strong, the hop's appeal will be obscured. Therefore, the fermentation temperature is adjusted to suppress the yeast-derived aroma, allowing the gorgeous and delicate aroma unique to hops to stand out.
