Yona Yona Ale's official beer restaurant, Yona Yona Beer Works, is selling a limited number of charity beers called "Ales for ALS 2025" to support the incurable disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
The total amount of this beer ordered will be converted into a pint (473ml) and $1 per pint will be donated to American ALS support organizations.
A special taste just this year
"Ales for ALS 2025" uses five types of hops that are specially blended to support ALS. By distilling some of the hops, we have achieved a clean taste without astringency or bitterness.
The beer style is a session IPA perfect for summer. It features a sweet aroma reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruits. It has a good balance of bitterness, sourness, and sweetness, making it a fruity and easy-to-drink beer. The blend of hops changes every year, so you can enjoy the special aroma and flavor that is only available this year.

The donation will be used to support the lives of ALS patients and for research and development of treatments.

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is an intractable disease in which motor nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are gradually lost. Currently, there is no established effective treatment, and the lives of patients are greatly restricted.
Yona Yona Beer Works has been working to support ALS patients since 2016. Through the sale of "Ales for ALS," we aim to increase understanding of ALS patients and expand the circle of support.
